In June 2024, the Transitions partners met in Barcelona for the Spring Meeting at Elisava School of Design and Engineering. The goal was to continue the collaborative work toward the final definition of the Transitions Training program. The partners focused on further developing the modular curriculum and sharing the outcomes of each partner’s Pilot 2, which consisted of experimental training programs designed to test the modular curriculum.
Transitions brings together knowledge partners and professionals from Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain, the host country of this Spring Meeting. Working side by side facilitated fluid communication and the generation of new ideas, which is essential for advancing the project’s final stages. The meeting also provided an opportunity for valuable feedback to be incorporated into each institution’s work.
At the Spring Meeting, we showcased significant progress in a more individualized way, fostering optimism and building anticipation for the project’s exciting future. The meeting was a productive and valuable experience for all involved.
This was the last face-to-face meeting of all partners before the final Transitions Lab and Conference event in February 2025 in Italy, a global hub for textiles and fashion sectors.
